Russian authorities get over 300 false terror alerts during election — Duma member

MOSCOW, March 18. /TASS/. Law enforcement agencies received 305 phony terrorist threats during the Russian presidential election, Russian State Duma member Alexander Khinshtein said.

"During the election, 350 incidents, including tampering with election documents and arson were recorded. A total of 305 fake reports of terrorist acts were received. The Federal National Guard Service detained 60 perpetrators and drew up 155 protocols on administrative offenses," he said on his Telegram channel.

Russian Deputy Minister of Interior Alexander Gorovoy said earlier that 61 people were criminally charged and 155 given administrative fines following the election.
