Kiev loses dozens of troops in attacks on Verbovoye, Rabotino — Russian politician

Vladimir Rogov pointed out that the Ukrainian army’s tactics had not changed as it continued to use small assault teams consisting of seven to 15 soldiers and deploy reinforcements to the area

MELITOPOL, March 13. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces lost several dozen troops in attacks on the settlements of Verbovoye and Rabotino in the Zaporozhye Region, Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the We Stand With Russia movement, told TASS.

"The enemy keeps making futile attempts to retake the positions that our troops have recently liberated in Rabotino and Verbovoye. Several attacks took place in Rabotino and Verbovoye over the past day; all of them failed, with dozens of enemy militants killed and several pieces of equipment destroyed," he said.

Rogov pointed out that the Ukrainian army’s tactics had not changed as it continued to use small assault teams consisting of seven to 15 soldiers and deploy reinforcements to the area.

"Roughly speaking, we made some achievements in late February and early March, and our troops are now building on this in their pursuit of more achievements. The enemy is actively building a defense line, preparing for defense. However, our artillery units and the Aerospace Forces are making sure that it’s not a solid line and there are gaps in it," the politician added.

Rogov told TASS on March 12 that Russian forces had advanced northwest of the settlement of Rabotino, seizing Ukrainian positions.
