BELGOROD, March 12. /TASS/. Ukraine has launched about 20 drones to attack the Belgorod Region so far on Tuesday, according to Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov.
"Four explosive devices were dropped from a drone in the village of Cheremoshnoye in the Belgorod district. No one was injured. A power line sustained damage. Power supply has been fully restored at this time. The enemy used three kamikaze drones to attack the Malinovka village. There were no casualties or damage. An enemy drone was shot down by air defenses over the Novaya Derevnya village. There were no consequences on the ground," he said on Telegram.
According to the governor, an enemy drone detonated outside a single-family household in Belgorod, smashing some windows and damaging a fence. Ukrainian forces used one kamikaze drone to attack the outskirts of the village of Beryozovka in the Borisovsky district. An explosive device was found and neutralized by a bomb squad from the Russian Defense Ministry in the village of Soloti in the Valuisky municipal district. There were no casualties. In the village of Urayevo, an fixed-wing drone was landed with electronic warfare equipment and destroyed on site. There were no casualties or damage, either.
The governor said that in the Volokonovsky district, a passenger car came under attack from a Ukrainian kamikaze drone. No one was injured, but the car's windows were broken. In the Graivoron municipal district, eight mortar shells were fired on the outskirts of the village of Gorkovsky. An enemy drone fell on the outskirts of Glotovo, and one explosive device was dropped from a drone on the outskirts of the village of Mokraya Orlovka. In the village of Lugovka, an explosive device was dropped from a drone on the territory of a farm.
Gladkov said that in one of the villages in the Krasnoyaruzhsky district there were three hits. On the outskirts of the village of Vyazovoye two explosive devices were dropped from a quadcopter, setting fire to dry grass. In the Starooskolsky municipal district three enemy drones fell to the ground. In the town of Shebekino in the Shebekinsky municipal district, an enemy drone attack smashed windows in two apartment buildings. Three mortar shells were fired at the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka, damaging a power line. Electronic warfare systems downed a drone in the village of Ziborovka.
Gladkov said two infrastructure sites were attacked by kamikaze drones in the Yakovlevsky municipal district. One of them came under attack from three drones in the town of Stroitel, and the other was attacked by one drone in the Tomarovka settlement. There were no casualties in these attacks, he said.
