India always strictly observes military-technical agreements with Russia — diplomat

"Over the decades of close interaction between our countries in this sphere, the Indian side has gained a reputation of a reliable and responsible partner who strictly observes bilateral agreements," Maria Zakharova noted

MOSCOW, February 28. /TASS/. Military-technical cooperation between Russia and India is based on trust and New Delhi has always strictly adhered to agreements in that sphere, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said at a briefing.

The diplomat was asked to comment on an article in Der Spiegel which mentioned clandestine talks between Germany and India on purchasing munitions for the Ukrainian armed forces.

"Such fake news items appear literally daily. <…> Russian-Indian military cooperation which has long-standing traditions, has always been of a trustful nature. Over the decades of close interaction between our countries in this sphere, the Indian side has gained a reputation of a reliable and responsible partner who strictly observes bilateral agreements," she noted.
