No shortage of people hoping to mar Russian presidential election — CEC chief

Ella Pamfilova added that "so-called relocants from the most anti-Russian cohort among them, are very active from abroad"

MOSCOW, February 22. /TASS/. There is no shortage of people who wish to discredit the Russian presidential election, with expats who recently left Russia being among the most eager to do so, Ella Pamfilova, Chairperson of the Russian Central Election Commission, said.

"There is no shortage of people willing to discredit the election. Many of those who fled for various reasons, I don't condemn them all, but those so-called relocants from the most anti-Russian cohort among them, are very active from abroad," Pamvilova pointed out.

"The CIA, MI6, many services there finance them, some are trained to organize provocations at polling stations abroad, others are forced to come to Russia to carry out a series of provocations, disrupting the election, disrupting the work of the commission," Pamfilova said, speaking at the Russia International Exhibition and Forum.
