MOSCOW, February 22. /TASS/. The Russian military-industrial complex achieved a drone parity in the special military operation area in a year and a half, Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev said, answering a question from TASS.
"Unmanned aerial vehicles are a topic of its own. Indeed, before the beginning of the special military operation, we had this component underdeveloped. But, one must admit, giving due credit to the military-industrial complex, that this gap has been overcome in the last year and a half," he said.
"Today, our drones operate in all segments, from large machines to loitering munitions - single-use drones that carry out a single mission, destroy their target and disappear," Medvedev said, adding that "all this has been put into serial production as well."
"I can only say that our military-industrial complex has passed the test by the special military operation, and I can thank everyone working in this complex. These are true enthusiasts, true patriots," the official concluded.
