"This is not an issue on the Kremlin's agenda," Dmitry Peskov explained

MOSCOW, February 20. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has not seen any materials on the murder of Maxim Kuzminov in Spain, a pilot who hijacked a Russian military helicopter in 2023, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

"No," he said, replying to a question on the matter. "This is not an issue on our agenda," he explained.

The Kremlin official also added that he is "unaware as to whether there have been any reports via diplomatic channels" and the Kremlin has "no information on this matter."

Earlier, Kuzminov’s death was reported by Italian and Spanish media outlets.

A spokesperson for the Spanish Civil Guard told TASS that law enforcement agencies were looking into the alleged murder of a 33-year-old Ukrainian national whose body "with gunshot wounds" had been found in a garage in the Province of Alicante.
