MOSCOW, December 11. /TASS/. The Russian Emergencies Ministry will deliver another 17.5 tons of humanitarian aid to the population of the Gaza Strip, a special aircraft has already taken off for to the city of El-Arish, the ministry's press service told TASS.
"A special Il-76 aircraft of the Russian Emergencies Ministry has flown to the city of El-Arish. The aircraft of the Russian Emergencies Ministry will deliver a humanitarian cargo with a total weight of 17.5 tons, including food, medicines, blankets, clothes. The humanitarian aid will be handed over to representatives of the Egyptian Red Crescent Society, who will deliver it to the Gaza Strip," the statement said.
In total, the Russian Emergencies Ministry has already delivered more than 315 tons of humanitarian aid to the region: food, medicine and basic necessities.
