The Russian leader added that support for the family, motherhood and childhood should be the focus of attention of all spheres of public administration

SOCHI/MOSCOW, November 28. /TASS/. Saving and multiplying the people of Russia is a task for generations to come and the future of the Russian world, President Vladimir Putin said, while speaking by video link at a meeting of the World Russian People's Council (WRPC).

"Saving and multiplying the people of Russia is our task for the coming decade. I will say more - for generations to come. This is the future of the Russian world and millennial, eternal Russia," Putin said.

He added that support for the family, motherhood and childhood should be the focus of attention of all spheres of public administration, economic, social and infrastructure policies, enlightenment, education and health care.

"The activities of all public associations, our traditional religions are also necessary precisely for strengthening the family," Putin noted.
