WASHINGTON, October 27. /TASS/. The US administration made the decision to allocate another batch of weapons and military equipment to the Kiev government during the period of "unprecedented escalation of international tension," Russian Ambassador to the US Anatoly Antonov has said.
Commenting on the US decision to allocate another $150 million military aid package to Ukraine, the ambassador said: "We have paid attention to another $150 million package for the needs of the Ukrainian armed forces, including air defense and anti-tank weapons, announced by the United States authorities on October 26, as well as to the fact that this is taking place at a time of unprecedented escalation of international tension."
In his opinion, "the provocative and inflammatory US actions in the international arena look more like adding fuel to the fire than efforts to counteract the further incitement and spread of bloody conflicts."
"The democratic Administration remains deaf to reasonable arguments voiced increasingly from ordinary Americans, local academia, businessmen," Antonov added. "It’s high time to stop the senseless multi-billion dollar injections into the bankrupt Kiev regime. Stop showing disregard for the opinion of your citizens and indifference to the ever-new victims dying from American weapons.".
