About ten explosions reported as downtown Donetsk comes under Ukrainian fire

It is noted that the Ukrainian military used artillery systems produced in NATO countries, as well as multiple rocket launchers

DONETSK, July 31. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces carried out a strike on the downtown area of the city of Donetsk on Monday morning, a TASS correspondent reported.

About ten blasts rocked the city. Explosions were also heard in the Buddyonovsky, Kalininsky and Proletarsky districts of Donetsk.

According to the Donetsk People’s Republic’s (DPR) mission to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to Ukrainian War Crimes (JCCC), the Ukrainian military used artillery systems produced in NATO countries, as well as multiple rocket launchers. Three 155 mm munitions and several rockets were fired at the city between 9:25 a.m. and 9:50 a.m. local time (06:25-6:50 a.m. GMT).
