WARSAW, February 22. /TASS/. US President Joe Biden considers Russia’s decision to suspend its participation in the New START Treaty ‘a big mistake.’

Biden’s words were relayed by the White House’s press pool Wednesday.

On Tuesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in his address to the Federal Assembly that Russia suspends its participation in the New START Treaty, but does not withdraw from it. The President underscored that it is necessary to understand how nuclear arsenals of other NATO states - the UK and France - will be accounted for under the treaty before the Treaty could be restored.
