Ukraine’s strike on hospital in Novoaidar ignored by international agencies — diplomat

"Two days have passed since the tragedy, sectoral international structures continue to be shyly silent pretending again not to notice another blatant crime by the Ukrainian army," Gennady Gatilov stressed

GENEVA, January 30. /TASS/. International institutions are turning a blind eye to yet another crime committed by Ukrainian troops, who delivered a missile strike on a hospital in Novoaidar on January 28, killing 14 and wounding 24 people, Russia’s Permanent Representative to the UN Geneva office Gennady Gatilov said on Monday.

"We call on the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, the UN Human Rights Council, the International Committee of the Red Cross and the World Health Organization to publicly condemn the Ukrainian army’s barbaric crime in Novoaidar," he said. "Otherwise, their silence will be considered evidence of their growing politicization and bias."

"Two days have passed since the tragedy, sectoral international structures continue to be shyly silent pretending again not to notice another blatant crime by the Ukrainian army," he stressed. "When it is necessary to demonize Russia, their comments are piled up immediately, with references to unverified and doubtful sources."

The Russian defense ministry said earlier that in the morning on January 28, Ukrainian troops delivered a strike from a US HIMARS multiple rocket launcher on a hospital in Novoaidar, killing 14 and wounding 24 people.
