Blast staged by Ukrainian troops near refugee center in Berdynask, police officer wounded

MOSCOW, August 26. /TASS/. Ukrainian troops staged an explosion near a refugee center in Berdynask in the Zaporozhye region, a deputy chief of the city’s traffic police was wounded, the city’s administration said on Friday.

"Today, the criminal Kiev regime stage another attempt on the lives of civilians living on the liberated territories. Thus, an explosion rocked the vicinity of the Kruvorozhsky Gornyak health center in Berdyansk, which houses refugees from Mariupol. According to preliminary data, one person - deputy chief of the city’s traffic police Alexander Kolesnikov - was hurt. He was taken to hospital with fragmentation wounds. Medics are offering all necessary assistance to him," it wrote on its Telegram channel.

According to the administration, details of the incident are being probed into. People are recommended to be vigilant and report about any unattended objects.

Ukrainian troops regularly shell liberated territories in the Zaporozhye region. Apart from that, Ukrainian sabotage groups are acting in cities.
