Ukrainian drone crashes into apartment building in Russia’s Belgorod, killing one

According to preliminary reports, the windows and balconies of five apartments were damaged

MOSCOW, March 29. /TASS/. A Ukrainian drone has crashed into an apartment building in the Russian city of Belgorod, killing one person and leaving another two injured, regional Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said.

"The Ukrainian military attacked Belgorod using a fixed-wing drone, which crashed into an apartment building. A resulting explosion killed a man. Two more people suffered injuries," he wrote on Telegram, adding that both the injured had been taken to the hospital.

According to preliminary reports, the windows and balconies of five apartments were damaged, as well as a car parked near the building.

"Response teams are working at the scene," the governor added.
