DONETSK, December 25. /TASS/. A female civilian was killed in a Ukrainian attack on downtown Gorlovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Mayor Ivan Prikhodko wrote on his Telegram channel.

"A female civilian resident of Gorlovka was killed in a Ukrainian attack on central Gorlovka," he wrote, adding that another woman was injured in the city.

According to local officials, in the past day, Ukrainian shelling attacks left one killed, with six other people wounded.

Also, a major fire erupted in the city after the Galaktika shopping mall came under Ukrainian attack on Sunday evening.
