MOSCOW, November 29. /TASS/. The United Kingdom’s policy of supplying Kiev with long-range missiles is fraught with the risk of nuclear powers colliding, Russian Ambassador to London Andrey Kelin said.

"It has been reported that another batch of Storm Shadows was delivered [to Ukraine] several weeks ago. While there have been no clear statements that they [British authorities] have allowed Kiev to use these missiles for strikes inside Russia, Ukraine has already used them to strike the Kursk Region," he said in an interview with the Rossiya-24 television channel.

"I would like to note that the British have completely ignored all our warnings and opted for escalatory actions to further worsen the Ukrainian crisis. And, naturally, this is fraught with bigger strategic risks, and, in the worst case scenario, even a confrontation between nuclear powers," he warned.

According to the Russian diplomat, Moscow considers such steps as the confirmation of London’s "involvement in the armed conflict alongside Ukraine" against Russia.
