Ukrainian troops shell DPR five times in past day, five civilians wounded

The attacks, targeting Donetsk and Yasinovataya, involved 155mm artillery shells and an attack drone

DONETSK, December 15. /TASS/. The armed forces of Ukraine carried out five shelling attacks targeting the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) on Thursday, wounding five civilians, the DPR mission to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukrainian war crimes said early on Friday.

"Over the past 24 hours, the mission registered five shelling attacks, carried out by Ukrainian armed groups. Five civilians were reported to have been wounded in the Leninsky and Petrovsky districts of Donetsk," the mission said in a statement.

"Nine residential buildings were damaged in the Lenisky district of Donetsk and Yasinovataya. No damage to civilian infrastructure was registered," it said.

The attacks, targeting Donetsk and Yasinovataya, involved 155mm artillery shells and an attack drone.

"A total of 14 munitions of various types were fired," the statement says.
