DONETSK, January 17. /TASS/. A total of 28 NATO-standard 155mm shells were fired by the Ukrainian artillery towards populated areas in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) on Tuesday evening, the DPR mission to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes said.
The mission said the shelling attack occurred between 5:25 p.m. and 8:50 p.m. local time (same as Moscow time) and targeted three populated areas of the republic: a total of 14 155mm artillery shells were fired towards Donetsk, eight - towards Zaytsevo and six - towards Panteleymonovka.
The DPR territorial defense headquarters reported that a civilian had been killed in a Ukrainian shelling attack in the settlement of Blagodatnoye earlier in the day.
