MOSCOW, February 20. /TASS/. Foreign companies will be allowed to return to Russia only if it benefits the country, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak told TASS.

"The return of foreign companies and investors to Russia will be possible only on terms that are favorable for us. We must act strictly based on our national interest. Many vacant niches have already been taken by Russian producers or partners from friendly countries; it is important to take this into account," Novak stressed.

"Work to achieve technological sovereignty will continue even in case of a change in external circumstances. The availability of domestically-produced advanced technologies in critical areas is important for the further successful development of Russia’s leading industries," he added.
