Russian producers lift goods prices by 0.9% in February — statistics

The rise in prices in production of ready metal items was 44.1% for hunting weapons, 9.9% for steam boilers and steam generating boilers, and boilers for high-temperature organic heat carriers

MOSCOW, March 20. /TASS/. Prices of Russian producers of industrial goods moved up by 0.9% month on month in February 2024, according to statistical data.

In the mineral resources production sector, prices edged up in supplies to the domestic market by 30.1% for unstable gas condensate, by 17.4% for tungsten concentrates, by 16% for ore and uranium concentrates, by 14.6% for clay not classified with other groups, by 14.4% for quartz and quartzite, by 13.8% for natural graphite, by 12.4% for iron ore blast furnace agglomerate, and by 10.9% for quartz sand.

In the processing segment, prices had the upsurge by 9.6% for paper bags and small bags, 3.8% for paper or cardboard forms, 3.7% for corrugated cardboard in rolls or sheets, 3.4% for corrugated paper or cardboard boxes and cartons, and 3.2% for processed paper and cardboard.

In the machinery and equipment manufacturing sector, prices surged by 16.4% for equipment for industrial cooking or warming of food, by 13.3% for miscellaneous pumps, and by 11.2% for parts and accessories to weaving looms and spinners, and machines for other textile and sewing production and leather treatment.

The rise in prices in production of ready metal items was 44.1% for hunting weapons, 9.9% for steam boilers and steam generating boilers, and boilers for high-temperature organic heat carriers, and 9.5% for baths made of ferrous metal, copper or aluminum. Prices fell at the same time for metal tanks by 13.7%.

The price drop was noted for stable gas condensate by 29.3%, for liquefied propane and butane by 24.2%, for other petroleum gases by 12.7%, for gaseous hydrocarbons, except natural gas, by 12.7%, by 12.2% for Arctic grade diesel fuel, and by 11.5% for winter grade diesel fuel.

Prices surged by 34.7% for briquettes, pellets and agglomeration products of brown coal, by 28.4% for fuel oil, by 17.4% for petroleum construction bitumen, and by 12.2% for motor gasoline.
