Russian stocks up as Tuesday trading opens

The dollar exchange rate was down by 0.11% at 89.96 rubles, while the euro was up by 0.01% at 98.45 rubles

MOSCOW, December 19. /TASS/. Russia’s stock market went up as Tuesday trading opened on Moscow Exchange as the MOEX Index rose by 0.26% to 3,084.12 points, while the dollar-denominated RTS Index added 0.53% to 1,081.17 points, according to trading data as of 10:00 a.m. Moscow time (07:00 a.m. GMT).

As of 10:18 a.m. (07:18 a.m. GMT), the MOEX was up by 0.03% at 3,077.23 points, while the RTS was up by 0.18% at 1,077.44 points.

Meanwhile, the dollar exchange rate was down by 0.11% at 89.96 rubles on Moscow Exchange, the euro was up by 0.01% at 98.45 rubles, while the yuan was down by 0.31% at 12.558 rubles.
