MOSCOW, December 5. /TASS/. Sales of new passenger cars in Russia climbed more than two-fold in November 2023 year-on-year to 109,700 units, Autostat analytical agency reported citing data from the Passport Industrial Consulting firm and considering its own segmentation. However, sales lost 2.3% month-on-month.
"In the last month of the fall 109,706 new passenger cars were sold in Russia. <…> Despite the fact that it is more than two times (+113%) higher than in November 2022, it is 2.3% lower compared with this October," the report said.
In total, 939,300 new passenger cars were sold in the country in the first 11 months of this year, up by 64.9% compared with the same period last year.
