Radio segment in advertising market growing first time since 2000s

Such growth is partly related to "modest" indicators of the last year, Vice President of the Russian Association of Communication Agencies Sergey Veselov noted

MOSCOW, November 23. /TASS/. The advertising market in the radio segment gained 35% during first nine months of 2023 and may add from 20% to 30% as of the year-end, Vice President of the Russian Association of Communication Agencies (RACA) Sergey Veselov said.

"We have already managed to calculate for the radio. This is plus 35% over nine months. I am dealing with market estimates for a long time but we have not seen such a fantastic outburst since the middle of 2000s," Veselov said.

Such growth is partly related to "modest" indicators of the last year, he noted. The advertising market in the radio segment can grow by 20-30% as of the year-end.
