Putin holds meeting with business representatives on Wednesday — Kremlin

The meeting focused on possible steps on improving the economy’s investment attractiveness, as well as creating more than competitive conditions for completion of the process of re-domiciliation of the companies, Dmitry Peskov specified

MOSCOW, November 16. /TASS/. President Vladimir Putin had a meeting with representatives of large Russian business on Wednesday, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

Asked whether the head of the state held a meeting with business circles on November 15, Peskov said: "Indeed, the president had a meeting with representatives of large business yesterday."

"A thorough conversation took place. A number of issues had been formulated through RSPP (Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs - TASS), various speeches were delivered, both by business and representatives of the government’s economic bloc," he added.

"[The meeting] focused on possible steps on improving the economy’s investment attractiveness, on creating more than competitive conditions for completion of the process of re-domiciliation of companies here," Peskov said, adding that the meeting was held for making the process smooth so that business did not face problems and brought companies to Russia, opening new enterprises and creating new jobs here.
