BRUSSELS, November 15. /TASS/. The European Commission (EC) expects the average oil price to rise to $84.1 per barrel of the Brent benchmark in 2023 and to $84.5 per barrel in 2024, the EC said in its Autumn 2023 Economic Forecast.
In the spring, after G7 countries imposed the so-called price cap on Russian oil, the European Commission projected prices at $76.3 and $72.1, respectively.
Prices for gas, including LNG, are projected at 43.3 euro per mWh in 2023 and 55.1 euro per mWh in 2024, down from 48 euro and 55.4 euro, respectively, expected this spring.
