MOSCOW, November 9. /TASS/. The transformation of the Russian economy will continue in the coming two years, Central Bank Governor Elvira Nabiullina said, adding that it will reach the trajectory of equilibrium growth by 1.5-2.5% in 2026.
"The transformation of the Russian economy will continue in the coming two years. As I have already said growth rates will be more moderate after very fast recovery rates. This is particularly connected with the fact that the recovery stage is over. According to our projections, the economy will reach the trajectory of equilibrium growth by 1.5-2.5% in 2026," she said.
The Bank of Russia revised the mid-term outlook following its October meeting as the forecast on Russia’s economic growth for 2023 was upgraded from 1.5-2.5% to 2.2-2.7%. Projections for 2024-2026 remained unchanged at 0.5-1.5% for 2024, 1-2% for 2025, and 1.5-2.5% for 2026.
