Kazakhstan ready to act as EAEU logistics center — deputy prime minister

ASTANA, November 9. /TASS/. Kazakhstan in cooperation with the member-countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) is ready to act as a logistics center of the association, Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister Serik Zhumangarin told the Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia underway in Kostanai.

"A list of Eurasian transport corridors has been defined and a digital project for an ecosystem of EAEU digital transport corridors has been launched. Further work in this direction will make it possible to turn the Eurasian Economic Union into a link between Europe and Asia and between the Global South and the North. In this context, Kazakhstan in cooperation with the other EAEU countries is ready to act as a logistics hub of the Eurasian Economic Union," he said.
