Russian gas makes up 10% of total French imports of this fuel — minister

The share of Russian gas imports is 15% at the European level, France's Minister for Energy Transition Agnes Pannier-Runacher said

PARIS, October 27. /TASS/. France continues importing natural gas from Russia and it amounts to 10% of the total volume of procurement, Minister for Energy Transition Agnes Pannier-Runacher said on the air with the RMC radio station.

"France continues purchasing small volumes of Russian gas. It accounts for about 10% of the total volume of supplies," the minister said. "Trading in Russian gas is not boycotted," she noted. Strategic reserves in gas storages of the country are 99% filled, she added.

The share of Russian gas imports is 15% at the European level, the minister said. It is much lower than 45%, as before the start of the Ukrainian conflict, Pannier-Runacher added.
