Russia repels nearly 50,000 cyberattacks since early 2022 — deputy PM

It is noted that 1,600 incidents were detected and neutralized

MOSCOW, January 19. /TASS/. Nearly 50,000 cyberattacks committed against Russian entities since the beginning of 2022 have been thwarted, and another 1,600 cyber-incidents have been resolved, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko reported.

"Since the beginning of 2022, almost 50,000 cyberattacks have been successfully countered, 1,600 incidents detected and neutralized. The relevant recommendations have been issued," Chernyshenko said at a briefing on the implementation of the national program "Digital Economy" in 2022.
