MOSCOW, March 7. /TASS/. Gazprom booked additional pumping of gas through Poland via the Yamal-Europe gas pipeline at an auction on Monday for Tuesday night, according to the data provided by GSA Platform.

The capacities to pump 3.13 mln cubic meters per hour were auctioned, with around 42.5% of capacities demanded in the period from 10:00 pm Moscow time on March 7 to 8:00 am on March 8.

Moreover, first nominations for transit of Russian gas via Ukrainian territory for Monday total 109.5 mln cubic meters per day, which equals deliveries under long-term booking for the country.

Overall, Europe boosted withdrawal of gas from storage facilities over the past days. It also increased gas purchases from Russia amid the growth of spot prices due to a drop in temperature, the lack of wind and the escalation of the situation in Ukraine.
