Lavrov hails steady development of military-technical cooperation with Egypt

MOSCOW, January 31. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has hailed the sustainable development of military-technical cooperation between Moscow and Cairo.

"We have noted the steady development of our military-technical cooperation. The commission on military-technical cooperation met in December 2022 to make decisions geared to continue our practical cooperation in this sphere," he told a news conference after talks with his visiting Egyptian counterpart, Sameh Shoukry. "Last December, Russia’s and Egypt’s naval forces held their fifth series of naval drills, the Bridge of Friendship."
