Russian forces hit over 260 targets of Armed Forces of Ukraine over day

The strikes by operational-tactical and army aviation, missile forces, and artillery on military facilities on the territory of Ukraine continue, Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov said

MOSCOW, July 30. /TASS/. Russian aviation, missile troops, and artillery hit more than 260 targets of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the day during the special operation in Ukraine, official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry, Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov said on Saturday.

"The strikes by operational-tactical and army aviation, missile forces, and artillery on military facilities on the territory of Ukraine continue," he said.

At the same time, fighter aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces destroyed the Ukrainian MiG-29 aircraft, as well as US AN/TPQ-36A counter-battery radar and AN/TPQ-37 radar.

Konashenkov added that the Russian Armed Forces defeated a military train in the Donetsk People’s Republic, carrying an elite battalion of the President of Ukraine brigade, more than 140 nationalists were killed. "About 250 more militants were injured. All military equipment that was in the convoy was disabled," he said.
