Russia discovers more facts proving US involvement in development of bioweapons in Ukraine

According to Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Major General Igor Konashenkov, the documents were provided by employees of Ukrainian biolabs

MOSCOW, March 24. /TASS/. Experts from Russia’s Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Protection Troops have discovered new facts proving the direct involvement of the US Department of Defense in the development of components for biological weapons in Ukraine, Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Major General Igor Konashenkov said.

"The Russian Defense Ministry continues to study documents about the United States’ secret military biological activities in Ukraine, which were provided by employees of Ukrainian biolabs. Experts from the Russian NBC Protection Troops have discovered more facts proving that the US Department of Defense was directly involved in the development of components for biological weapons in Ukraine," he pointed out.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a special military operation based on a request from the heads of the Donbass republics. The Russian leader stressed that Moscow had no plans to occupy Ukrainian territories and the goal was to demilitarize and denazify the country. Russia’s Defense Ministry stressed that the Russian Armed Forces were not delivering strikes against Ukrainian cities. The ministry emphasized that the Ukrainian military infrastructure was being destroyed by precision weapons and there was no threat to civilians.
