Rome readying its 10th military aid package for Ukraine — ANSA

The government said it was focused on sending instruments for defense while being opposed to using Western weapons for strikes inside Russia

ROME, December 3. /TASS/. The Italian government is preparing a decree to send its 10th military aid package to Ukraine, ANSA news agency quoted sources as saying. Simultaneously, Rome is drafting a decree on continued military assistance to Ukraine throughout 2025.

While the list of weapons and military gear is classified, it is known that Italy has already supplied Kiev with two Samp-T air defense systems. The government said it was focused on sending instruments for defense while being opposed to using Western weapons for strikes inside Russia.

Nor has the exact sum of Italian aid packages been disclosed. Earlier, Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto said the country’s resources had been exhausted.
