West rejects Russia’s proposals on safety of combat aircraft flights — diplomat

Konstantin Gavrilov pointed out that nowadays the West is ready to talk only about Ukraine

MOSCOW, March 29. /TASS/. Western countries have been unwilling to negotiate Russia’s proposals on the safety of military aircraft flights for years, Konstantin Gavrilov, head of the Russian delegation to the Vienna Negotiations on Military Security and Arms Control, said on the Rossiya-24 television channel.

"We have proposals [on safety of military aircraft flights], but for many years they [Western representatives] have categorically refused to discuss them," he said.

The diplomat pointed out that nowadays the West is ready to talk only about Ukraine.
