MOSCOW, January 15. /TASS/. All the high-precision weapons Ukraine currently has are Western-made, Vadim Skibitsky, deputy head of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry’s Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR), said.
"As of today, the precision weapons we have are all Western-made," he told the RBC-Ukraine news agency. According to him, artillery ammunition for NATO-standard 155 mm guns is also mostly produced abroad.
Skibitsky pointed out that Kiev is counting on further support from Western partners, as it is "difficult and in some areas impossible" to continue fighting without their help.
Earlier, Ukraine's Strategic Industry Minister Alexander Kamyshyn admitted that the country's defense industry is unable to fully meet the needs of the Ukrainian armed forces. Against this backdrop, Kiev urged Western companies to set up joint arms production in Ukraine.
