TEL AVIV, January 5. /TASS/. The Israeli Air Force (IAF) has delivered a new airstrike on Lebanon targeting the military wing of the Lebanon-based Shia party Hezbollah, the army press service said in a statement.

"A short while ago, IAF fighter jets conducted strikes in the areas of Ayta ash Shab and Majdal Zun in Lebanon," the statement reads.

Among the targets were Hezbollah infrastructure, a military post, and a facility used by the militants, the press service added.
