CAIRO, November 23. /TASS/. Egypt has received from Israel and the radical Palestinian movement Hamas the lists with the names of the hostages and prisoners to be released on November 24, Diaa Rashwan, the head of the State Information Service said.
"Egypt has received from the Palestinian and Israeli sides the lists of the prisoners and captives scheduled to be released tomorrow, Friday, in the afternoon of the first day of the truce," the Al-Youm As-Sabia news portal quoted Rashwan as saying. He confirmed that 13 Israeli hostages will be released by the Palestinian side on Friday. "Egypt calls on both sides [in the conflict] to undertake a commitment to comply with the agreement on truce," Rashwan stressed.
Al-Youm As-Sabia, citing a source, also reports that the agreement implies the release of 39 Palestinian prisoners from Israeli jails on the first day. According to the source, there are women and children among them.
Earlier, Hamas confirmed that under the achieved agreements, "three Palestinian prisoners, including women and children, will be released in exchange for every Zionist hostage."
Qatari Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Majed Al-Ansari announced earlier that the humanitarian ceasefire between Israel and Hamas would begin at 5:00 a.m. GMT on Friday.
On November 22, Hamas reported reaching an agreement with Israel, mediated by Qatar and Egypt, on a humanitarian truce in the Gaza Strip that would last four days. The movement confirmed that the agreement stipulated the release of 50 women and children under the age of 19 who are held in Gaza in exchange for the release of 150 women and children under the age of 19 from Israeli prisons.
