DUBAI, November 17. /TASS/. A drone attacked the al-Harir airbase in northern Iraq, where American and international forces are deployed, Sky News Arabia reported.
The extent of the inflicted damage was not specified. The 'The Islamic Resistance of Iraq' organization took responsibility for the attack, justifying it by "the enemy’s crimes in the Gaza Strip." According to the organization, the drone hit the designated target.
The base was also attacked by drones on November 9 and 11. According to Pentagon Deputy Spokeswoman Sabrina Singh, US forces in the Middle East were attacked 40 times between October 17 and November 7, with 22 attacks taking place in Iraq and 18 - in Syria.
