As part of raids conducted in the West Bank of the Jordan River on Tuesday night, the Israeli security forces detained 20 people suspected of terrorist activity, three of whom are supporters of the Hamas movement governing the Gaza Strip, the army press service reported.

"In Judea and Samaria (Israeli designation of the West Bank - TASS), the Israeli security forces detained 20 wanted people, including three supporters of the Hamas terrorist organization," the report says.

Since October 7, the Israeli military has detained a total of 1,700 Palestinians in the West Bank of the Jordan River, including 950 Hamas supporters, the press office added.

According to the Israeli military, the counterterrorist operation in the Tulkarm Camp, which was launched on Monday, continues. It has yielded lots of explosives. An Israeli drone attacked a terrorist squad, who were firing at Israeli soldiers.

Apart from that, during the night raid, Israeli forces destroyed the apartment of a Hamas terrorist who has shelled a filling station near a Jewish settlement in the West Bank in June.
