BEIJING, February 28. /TASS/. The second plenary session of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China that took place in Beijing on Tuesday adopted a plan to reform the country’s party and government agencies, according to the Xinhua news agency.
Xinhua is citing excerpts from a statement that followed the plenary session. The report didn’t give any further details of the document.
Xi Jinping, the Chinese president and secretary general of the CPC Central Committee made clarifications for the plan, according to the report. It was decided to submit a part of the plan for discussion by the deputies of the annual session of the National People's Congress (NPC, the Parliament of the People's Republic of China) that’s opening in the Chinese capital on March 5 "in accordance with proper legislative procedures."
Xi Jinping, the report said, gave an "important speech" at the plenary session, the details of which have not been given either.
