MOSCOW, October 27. /TASS/. Specialists have not recorded any exceedances of background gamma radiation in the town of Kurchatov or on the premises of the Kursk NPP after the failed attack of Ukrainian drones, Russia's Federal Medical and Biological Agency has said.

"On October 27, 2023 the FMBA’s sanitary-epidemiological service measured gamma radiation in the city of Kurchatov, the Kursk Region, and on the premises of the Kursk nuclear power plant. No exceedances of background gamma radiation were detected," the news release reads.

On Thursday, the Russian Defense Ministry said one drone was intercepted in the area of Kurchatov. An overnight attack by three drones was thwarted on the territory of the Kursk Region.
