MOSCOW, April 24. /TASS/. Early risers in Moscow will be able to watch six heavenly bodies do a rare celestial dance in the small hours on May 3, a spokesman for the Russian Planetarium said on Tuesday.
"Before dawn on May 3, three of the planets - Mars, Jupiter and Saturn - will form a line with the moon, Spica, the brightest star in the constellation of Virgo, and Antares, the brightest star in the constellation of Scorpius over the southern horizon," the spokesman said, adding that the best time to see the alignment is from 03:00 a.m. to 04:44 a.m. Moscow time.
A planetary alignment is the common term standing for a configuration of at least two bodies strung out in a line at one time in the same area of the sky, as seen from Earth.
