MOSCOW, November 21. /TASS/. Russia’s re-election to the UN Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) confirms its authoritative role in shaping international trade regulations, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
"The Russian Federation has confirmed its authoritative role in the development of international trade law. Our country will continue to actively participate in the work of the Commission and its working groups to achieve progress on the most pressing legal matters of international trade and economic relations," the ministry said.
Russia was re-elected to UNCITRAL for the period of 2025-2031, getting the support of 129 countries in a November 20 vote in New York at the 40th plenary session of the UN General Assembly.
