Putin’s address to Federal Assembly kicks off

MOSCOW, February 21. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has begun delivering his annual address to the Federal Assembly. The president will give his assessment of the situation in Russia and his vision of Russia's future plans at Moscow's Gostiny Dvor.

This year's address is already the twenty-eighth in Russia's modern history and the eighteenth for Putin. The event is broadcast live on TV channels Rossiya-1, Rossiya-24 and Channel One. Sign language translation is available on Russian Public Television (OTR), and a text broadcast is available on its website. The duration of the event is not regulated.
