Russian air defenses suppress over 300 Ukrainian UAVs in DPR over week

The drones neutralized by the air defenses included a UAV carrying grenade launcher munitions

DONETSK, April 8. /TASS/. Russian air defense forces detected and suppressed 305 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over four cities in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) in the past week, the DPR defense headquarters said on its Telegram channel on Monday.

The Ukrainian drones were suppressed over Donetsk, Gorlovka, Makeyevka and Yasinovataya, the defense headquarters said, citing data of the FSB (Federal Security Service) branch for the DPR.

The drones neutralized by the air defenses included a UAV carrying grenade launcher munitions. The drone was intercepted and destroyed by FSB bomb technicians. Another two Ukrainian reconnaissance UAVs were suppressed over a railway hub in the Donetsk suburbs, it said.

"There are no victims among civilians and the infrastructure was not damaged," the DPR defense headquarters said.
