MOSCOW, February 28. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces abandoned Western-made weapons and wheeled vehicles with Nazi symbols while fleeing from the liberated village of Lastochkino, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

"At the moment, the Ukrainian units are trying to shell the settlement with long-range artillery and are using kamikaze drones. On the run from the settlement, Ukrainian servicemen have abandoned Western-made weapons, including wheeled vehicles with Nazi symbols," the ministry said.

The military added the Russian forces' sappers would soon begin work to eliminate the mine danger in the settlement and destroy explosive objects.
