Forum participants "For Freedom of Nations!" in solidarity with Palestinians — statement

"The forum expresses solidarity with the Palestinian people, who are deprived of the right to self-determination, independence, sovereignty and peace guaranteed to them by the UN Security Council decisions," the document says

MOSCOW, February 20. /TASS/. The forum of supporters of the fight against neocolonialism "For Freedom of Nations!" participants are in solidarity with the Palestinian people, who are now actually deprived of the right to independence despite the UN decisions, the forum's founding meeting's final statement published on the Russian Foreign Ministry's website says.

"The forum expresses solidarity with the Palestinian people, who are actually deprived of the right to self-determination, independence, sovereignty and peace guaranteed to them by the UN Security Council decisions," the document says.

The forum participants also emphasized the attention of the world community on "the inextricable causal link between the crimes of colonialism and neocolonialism and the continuing growth of inequality in the modern world, as well as the problems of poverty and hunger in developing states," the statement stressed.

Forum of supporters of the struggle against modern practices of neocolonialism "For Freedom of Nations!" was held on February 15-16 in Moscow, it was attended by representatives of more than 50 countries. These are the states of Africa, Asia, CIS, Middle East, Latin America and Europe. The forum was initiated by the United Russia party.
