Russian army takes strategic stronghold near Kamensk without losses — commander

Fierce fighting for the stronghold lasted for 24 hours

MOSCOW, December 18. /TASS/. /TASS/. The Russian army has stormed a Ukrainian stronghold in the area of Kamensk in the Zaporozhye Region, the commander of a small arms company of snipers (call sign Ali) has told TASS.

"As a result of an assault in the Kamensk area in the Zaporozhzhye Region we managed to capture a strategically important stronghold of the Ukrainian army without a single loss. The task was to take the stronghold and it was accomplished. The guys did a great job," the company’s commander has said.

Fierce fighting for the stronghold lasted for 24 hours.

"We managed. The enemy lost at least 10 men and various military equipment," he added.
